This thing is nearly perfect! We have three dogs that we kennel occasionally when we leave the house, and I was tired of looking at three wire kennels of different sizes spread throughout the house. I decided to splurge on this 95" furniture-style kennel console, and it's absolutely everything I wanted it to be! It's STURDY. The assembly instructions were easy to follow, and assembly wasn't nearly as daunting a task as I thought it was going to be. Ours did arrive with a pretty nasty scratch/scuff on one of the bottom boards (thanks to a pretty big gash in the box from shipping), but it's covered by a kennel pad/dog bed, so not visible and not worth fussing over. This gate is perfect and has features I didn’t even know I needed! I originally bought a pet gate from another site, that just had the bars, and no plexiglass. Unfortunately, my cat kept trying to shove his face through, and I was worried about him hurting himself. The latch could also be opened if he were to jump up and pull down on it, and the gate had a lot of play in the middle, so it would wobble back and forth. I returned it and got this gate. It took care of all of the issues I had regarding the first one! No more fear of my cat trying to push his face through the bars, the latch is cat proof, and it is much more stable! I didn’t even have to add the bonus hardware half way up to add to the stability. I also love the added feature of the door swinging both ways, as it makes it easier to keep my cat back who tries to get out at times when I am coming through the gate.
