This fan is beautiful! I had an electrician install the fall. He was able to take down the old fan and put in this new fan in about 40 minutes! So much have been a super easy set up. We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. Great looking fan. I wish it had a longer rod with it. I was thinking it would be longer. It said 2 rods. I didn’t realize 4” And 8” would not be very long at all but it did give the lengths. I do like it it looks great on the room. Having LED is a big plus. Hope it last a long time. Having to put another light up due to the LED going out will not be fun.
