I got this 14,000 BTU window AC for my workshop here in Florida, and honestly it’s been a lifesaver in the heat. My shop gets brutally hot during the afternoons, especially with tools running and the sun beating on the building, but this unit cools the space down way faster than I expected. Within about 15-20 minutes you can actually feel a huge difference. Installation was pretty straightforward, and once mounted it feels solid and secure. I like that it has multiple modes including eco, sleep, dehumidifier, and fan settings because Florida humidity is no joke. The dehumidifier feature really helps take that sticky feeling out of the air. It’s also quieter than I thought a 14,000 BTU unit would be. You can still comfortably work, listen to music, or have a conversation without it sounding like a jet engine. I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3.
