The heater doesn’t exactly heat the whole room when it’s super cold out, but it definitely takes the chill out of the air and warms it sufficiently to make it possible to use the room in winter. I have had a single hose style before and it seemed to really make it humid. This one cools it nicely is quiet and doesn’t put off the humid air. Installing this in a dry-walled garage, for instance, will take some doing including cutting away drywall and add 2x4 supports.
