Update after a year the wood filler that was slapped over the knots at the factory has begun to seriously crack. I’ve put more wood filler in but unfortunately it’s not holding together. There are now large cracks developing all over, the crack in the arm has worsened to the point I think it’s going to affect the stability shortly. So I guess I spent 1200 for something that only held together for a year. Too bad, it was cute while it lasted. Original review This worked out great for our space. The wood quality is overall pretty good, there are a few knotty spots that were obviously filled in at the factory, and one of the arms has a crack in it, but it’s not a deal breaker. It's almost imperceptible, but annoying. Also, we picked the natural color and expected variations in color and grain. However there's a black streak in the grain of the back piece.
