It's important to note that with this design, the center square goes above the ceiling grid vs. sitting below it, so this is perfect for my application as the basement in my home is quite low in some areas where there is duct work, allowing me to optimize head space versus other designs that droop below the ceiling grid. Keep in mind you may have issues with delivery as I had several times due to damaged edges, but Wayfair had solved the issue promptly and sent me replacement tiles free of charge. Vincent. These tiles will add beauty, sound dampening, and insulation

First off, as other people have said, these tiles are like the Styrofoam plates that I grew up using. I was a little nervous about that. Make sure you use a glue that is made for adhering foam. They went up easy. Youre going to have to paint because I could see the glue through the Styrofoam after I put them up. Caulk the seams with a paintable acrylic caulk. Acrylic or latex water-based paint is recommended. I used latex. I was able to do all of the paint with a 38 nap and cover everything except the seams, which I used a brush. I went light on the first coat to get it covered and prep for the second coat. Im pretty happy with the results. I received the tiles about 24 hours ago and have been able to get my 6x10 bathroom through the first coat of paint since then. Overall, a pretty fast and easy project.. Lisa. Iowa. Sat Jun 08 2024

I love these tiles! I thought they might be too big of a tile for regular height ceiling but they look great. I glued them up all by myself.
