I wasn't sure about the clear glass looking at this online but in person, its better than I expected. Both features of the photocell (turns off during daylight) and motion detection (which it has a pretty far range and doesn't turn on in the daylight) are the best part. Great product for the price. The LEDs make it easy to change colors. Easy to install. This is the 10" and we could have gone a little bigger for the space. Had we gone with the 13" we wouldn't have to touch up paint around it, but I also like that they aren't that noticeable and something bigger might have been too obtrusive as this is just a small rectangle between multiple rooms. Love the SkyPlug outlet product and ease of installation. The light fixture itself is a high quality product and really impressed with the integrated SkyX plug. I installed this as a replacement to a ceiling light. The earlier installer did not do a great job as the ceiling outlet box extended an inch or so below the ceiling and the hole cut was too large. I replaced with an old work box and used a medallion to help give it a finished look. This would not have been necessary for ceiling boxes properly installed to begin with.
