My living room has vaulted ceilings and is on the larger size. I have a controlled lighting switch which allows the room to be great illuminated to dimly and both look great with this as it has 5 lights. This is the only lighting needed in the room! I had 3 floor lamps in the room and this fixture does the job that the other 3 didn’t and it’s very cute. It was a 2 person install due to its size. Love the SkyPlug outlet product and ease of installation. The light fixture itself is a high quality product and really impressed with the integrated SkyX plug. I installed this as a replacement to a ceiling light. The earlier installer did not do a great job as the ceiling outlet box extended an inch or so below the ceiling and the hole cut was too large. I replaced with an old work box and used a medallion to help give it a finished look. This would not have been necessary for ceiling boxes properly installed to begin with. We love the brightness and color temperature settings, as we use them for reading. The big selling point for us was the 26.5" long gooseneck arm. It is long enough to reach over the reading material and can be twisted into any position. Even when fully extended, the arm does not tip the light over due to the weighted base.
