Excellent quality, super sturdy and very easy to assemble!!! My boys ages 11 and 9 helped me (their mom) build it in just a few hours! It’s sturdy enough that I am able to lay in the top bunk with my 11yr old and it holds up great, my husband is 300lb and lays on the bottom bunk with our 9yr old with no issues! Very solid! And we love the pull out trundle twin size bed for when they have their cousins or friends over! We currently have our nugget play couch on the trundle rather than a mattress, but will be getting a mattress for it. The only complaint I have is that it came with absolutely no extra hardware incase a piece is broken or gets lost during set up, not a single extra bolt, screw or wooden dowel, but otherwise we are very happy with this purchase!!. I would give this bunk bed with trundle a 4.5 star rating. It seems sturdy enough for my kids, and I like that the top bed has high railings on both sides. (I bought 8” mattresses, and on the top, there is still another 5.25” to the top of the railing.) It took some time for my husband and I to set up, but that was to be expected. The draw backs are that there was some cosmetic damage with the paint, but not enough to send it back. Also, Wayfair states that the trundle can have a 9” mattress for the trundle. I bought an 8”, but it is still a very tight fit. I am sending back the 8” mattress and am getting a 6” so that there is some room for covers to be pushed in with the mattress.
