Many parts in the first couple of steps are located inside a box, inside the main part of the grill. I did not see them until I was further into the assembly. But overall, the assembly was fairly simple, and the directions were clear and easy. We just used our new grill for the first time this past weekend. I'm very happy with the purchase of this grill. It has the look of a Weber without the price. This grill is made very well, Easy to put together, the grates are heavy duty, the finish is also very nice. You have good control of the flame and best of all its very portable.
