A very comfortable outdoor chair. I love the height of the back, especially because so many of the outdoor dining chairs were hitting my husband under his shoulder blades and he found them very uncomfortable. The assembly took two of us right around 15 or 20 minutes. The back and seat is a wood composite material and not metal which I was happy to discover. The only thing I don’t love about them is that the screw backs are visible on the seat back. The way I have them pleased. I don’t really see the seatbacks but honestly, it’s something that would bother me if I was looking at the seatbacks. Im not sure how long the plasticky rattan will hold up sitting out in the sun, but Im hopeful well get at least a few years out of them. Theyre lightweight to move, and theyre comfortable to sit in. My one complaint, and I almost took off a star for this, was that the assembly was really a pain in the neck. They came in multiple pieces, flat packed in a small box, and the assembly took 3 men - my husband, son and father in law - over 45 minutes, and theyre pretty handy guys. It was almost comical. They are nice looking chairs and will work for us for the time being, but I can see why they were offered at a great clearance price. Three of the four chairs have damage we'll repair, as it's not worth trying to return them. They come as one piece (no assembly) and the box is huge! The damage is that the plastic rattan wrap around the legs has unraveled on 2 of the chairs, and the arm of a third chair has some damage that should be glued down. Because the plastic is polyethelene, you can't use just any glue, you need a bonding epoxy so I will be buying some tomorrow to address these issues.
