This is a great little pouf or really an ottoman. It is firm and just the right height for a chair or sofa. The bottom is covered in fabric and has plastic feet that are also covered in a fabric skirt so no scratching of my flooring. I like this ottoman just fine but had to give it four stars because it came damaged and I had to fix it. One of the canes was not properly stapled down so it had to be glued into place and it was tricky rigging up constant pressure via tying yarn in strategic areas. It eventually worked and all is well.
