That fluffiness makes me slightly wary of how easy or hard it might be to move dining room chairs in/out from the table, as the overall pile is a little higher than I would normally look for in a dining room rug, but time will tell. I'm thrilled to find a modern, neutral rug with this much character. It's described as "farmhouse" but I don't get that vibe from it at all. I have a geometric blocked rug in my living room with shades of red, orange, and burgundy, and the geometric pattern on this Ulmer rug puts the two in concert with each other without looking "matchy-matchy."
