I looked at a ton of faucet options for my kitchen renovation. It had to be matte black, within, budget, and have a pull-down sprayer. I needed it to be reasonably priced and stylish without being overly designed. I kept coming back to this one and here it is. It's beautiful and functional. I would have liked there to be a second on-off sensor on top but the ones that had that feature were more expensive and had this weird lip base that would attract dirt and ick. The one drawback is that the connectors aren't long enought to allow more flexible mounting options for the little power box that holds the batteries and sets the faucet from manual to sensor. The box had to be mounted waaaaay in the back of the cabinet behind the garbage disposal. Of course shorter connection lines equals less expensive to manufacture so it was apparent that they cheaped out. When it's time to change the batteries, I'm going to have to beg and bribe someone with long arms and a lot of patience. The sensor is responsive and stays on until you tell it to turn off. Also just pulling down the sprayer turns it on, which is cool. There's a well-placed switch on the back of the sprayer head that turns the water from spray to stream and back again. This faucet looks great and was very easy to assemble and install. The black and gold finish gives it a modern, high-end appearance, and it feels solid once installed. The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the faucet sits quite high above the sink. While the tall design looks nice, it causes water to splash more than expected, especially when the water pressure is turned up.
