I've been very impressed with the FOTILE 30" Slant Vent range hood. It’s extremely efficient at removing smoke and cooking odors, much more powerful than standard models. Despite its strong suction (up to 1100 CFM), it operates surprisingly quietly, which is a big plus in an open kitchen. The touchless control feature is also a standout. The power on the Fotile range hood is excellent. For most cooking, I stay on the first 2 out of 3 fan settings. For high smoke activities such as seasoning a wok or searing steak, the 3rd settings is more than enough to suck up all the fumes. The fan speeds are all pretty quiet. This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. This dehumidifier has a nice digital display and is easy to read. It has 2 fan speeds and I like the option to set a certain amount of time for the unit to run. Some of the control options are not explained in the user manual (like what is purpose of the “Air Supply” indicator). And the 5 safety instruction regarding cleaning the unit is an example of not being proofed by an English proficient person (photo of page provided). It’s easy to open and remove the water tank for emptying having both the tank and access to the reusable filter in the front is very handy. Although the dehumidifier is a bit heavy, it rolls easily to move from room to room. The unit’s humidity gauge shows a higher room level than our 2 digital gauges, but it seems to be doing a good job of removing humidity from our house. So far it is working well. I gave it 4 stars due to lack of detailed info for the Control Panel. UPDATE After using the unit for a bit, there is a noticeable hum even when running on low.
