Why in the world the previous owner installed white ceiling fans on a brown house is beyond me!! I hated the old fan, how dirty it was and how it didn't match the exterior of the house in any way at all. So, I stumbled upon this GREENEVER outdoor ceiling fan and knew it would be perfect! The fan was fairly easy to install (cramming the remote box into the housing without crimping wires is always the hardest part!). The ABS blades will hold up in any weather, yet don't look like plastic. The fan is totally quiet - not a sound! I got tired of chasing down my cheap chairs after every storm so I got these 3 years ago. They are heavy enough not to blow away but still light enough to move around. And they fold away when needed. The color is through and through and they look great after 3 years in the weather. I liked mine so much I requested another pair for Mother's day and I love them. For more comfort I paired them with the footrest/ ottoman. But you don't have to, I just prefer it. These will last for years and are worth it. Oh, and the cupholder is like icing on the cake!
