First off came very well packaged and all parts in boxes were secured with foam and each one individually wrapped. The quality is good and looks just like the pictures. I think it took just as long to take the pieces out of the boxes and unwrap them and break all the packing down than it did to build the pergola. I ordered two of these and placed them sideways so that I could have a 16 wide and 24 feet long covered area. It definitely took four people about four hours to put up the first one but second one went a lot smoother after figuring out all the louvers. I’ve had it up for about a month so far with some pretty strong winds and so far so good. We did have a decent rain and it kept everything dry when I closed the louvers but then we had a torrential rain and it was just way too much for the small areas to hold so it definitely leaked in a few spots. The pergola is a good purchase. Especially for the process point. It comes packaged well and the instructions are excellent and easy to use. The installation is simple especially with multiple people. The tools and hardware come packaged well. I’ve had bad experience with other brands in the past. The lighting addition could’ve been done better as the length of the light exceeeds the dimensions of the pergola and have to”tuck” it away but that was an extra bonus for me so it wasn’t a deal breaker.. LOVE THIS PERGOLA - We needed something that kept the sun off our outdoor kitchen in central Florida. We lifted it by about 18 inches so it would be above our door by using flower boxes and filled with concrete. It actually makes the pergola more comfortable by raising it. The gutters work well in the heavy down pours known in Florida. The higher wind tolerance was a huge selling point for us. We couldnt be happier.
