Finally found one that lasts! I want to start by saying I intentionally waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure this product truly stood the test of time before recommending it — and I’m so glad I did, because it did not disappoint! My husband has gone through so many coffee makers over the years. We could never find one that would hold up long-term. Then we got the Braun, and it has outlasted every single one before it. I was well overdue for a new immersion blender, and did a good bit of research before deciding on this one. The attachments on this model are terrific. The only one I have not yet used is the masher (solid black piece), but maybe this fall when we make more mashed potatoes. The blender has a safety lock design that my previous did not. The "click" mechanism for releasing/swapping attachments makes using it a breeze. I especially like that it has three speeds for blending: pulse (which pulses though you hold the button steady), low and high. This makes it very versatile for my various uses. Was looking for a coffee maker that has a removable water reservoir. The only issue we have with it is that the water holes in the coffee area get plugged up if we use over a certain amount of coffee. This coffee grinder is great. It works really great to grind coffee for espresso, French press, or just regular brewed coffee. The grind is consistent and it has settings for different preferences. I love that I can choose the number of cups and grind type. I end up with less waste (no stale coffee for me!!). Initially I read some people complain about the noise but it really isnt bad. It also works pretty quickly so Im not bothered by the sound. I also saw where people complained that the grinds go everywhere when its grinding, you just need to make sure that the cup is pushed in properly (as far as it will fit). I only had one issue with grinds making a mess. The only thing that I think could use some work (design wise) is the transfer from the container to your coffee brewing receptacle. Maybe a pour spout or funnel type piece In any case, the transfer isnt a huge deal and you could easily use a separate funnelor even a scoop to transfer the coffee without making a mess.
