My partner and I have been using this split frame for a few months now and we love it. This is our first hollow box spring after living with an old coil box spring for so long. Though there are definitely differences, we sleep just as well on it. For reference, the two of us on our queen double pillow top mattress with four additional mattress tops are roughly 650lbs all together. This split frame easily holds all of the combined weight. Just what I needed. I found it hard to find boxsprings that you don't have to assemble! I did NOT want to have to assemble them. These are good because they ship in two not-too-large boxes. I was able to handle them myself without help. You simply unpack, unfold it, and put it on the bed. No assembly required.
