Wanted a recliner to recover in after knee replacement surgery. But didn’t have a lot of space. This smaller recliner was a great option. It is extremely comfortable. The delivery left something to be desired. They kind of tossed it in the direction of the front door. The box is quite heavy so they were probably struggling and ultimately gave up. But once inside, it was relatively easy to unpack and put together. But two people were necessary. The bolsters didn’t have a right or left indicated so that was a little tricky, but otherwise the instructions were easy to follow. I don’t think anyone over 5’10”would enjoy this recliner. It’s on the smaller side and your feet would definitely hang over the edge. I thought the back and foot rest could move separately but they move in tandem. For example, you can’t be upright and have the foot rest up. Or you can’t be reclining back and have the foot rest down. The foot rest does not fully rise to seat-level but it’s still very comfortable. One thing I cannot figure out is how to make it stop rocking andor swiveling. This posed a problem during recovery when trying to rise from the chair because it would rock back or swivel. I feel like there should be a feature to lock the chair so it does not move. First off, this recliner is very pretty, well made, comfortable, and matched the color of my existing leather furniture. It was made in the USA and was very easy to put together. Our only complaint is the seat sits too high in conjunction with the arms. This makes the arms totally useless. If I had noticed this in the photos on Wayfair, I probably wouldn’t have ordered it. As soon as my husband sat in it, we realized the issue with the arms. To remedy this, I bought two bolster pillows so my husband can rest his arms on them. It did take 4 weeks for delivery, which seemed to be excessive, considering it was made in the U.S. Overall, we’re happy with this purchase and I believe this recliner will last a long time.. I purchased this recliner in navy blue. I LOVE IT. I waited for my son to come up and put it together for me. but he owns a business and is always busy. So I just cut the box down the end and slid it out to the room where it was going to be. Read the directions which were very easy and put it together by myself. I'm 78 !!!. a grandmother, and proud of it. If I can do it. anyone can. The fabric and color are gorgeous. The seat height is perfect for me. I love ordering from Wayfair.
