I just love my new cooktop. The design makes it really easy to clean. In terms of performance, I noticed that cook times are a little bit shorter. We cook A LOT, and we're a longtime Bosch family, and even though it's taking some getting used to cooking on induction vs. open flame, in general we're loving this appliance because it fits our limited available space, it's very intuitive to use, and it's super-easy to clean! On "con" = we find we're having to be extra-careful not to drag heavy pots across the cooktop (as we'd gotten used to doing on the very rugged cast iron grate of our gas cooktop at home) - this induction cooktop surface definitely feels more "delicate" than our gas cooktop grate. Although this one sticks out 2 1/4 inches aound the door, the way the knob portion angles, it's flush with the countertop at the top. I especially like the angle for access to the knobs. Although some have noted, their space between the back wall, I have none and there should be none if install installed properly. Also, others have noted the cooling process sends warm air out the front vent, I knew it going in and it is not bothering me. The bottom Storage door is a bit light weight and small, but I'm glad to have it, as some do not and it's fitting a fair amount of stacked cookie sheets and broiler pans. This oven looks really nice & cooks extremely well! I use Convection Mode mostly & it automatically reduces temperature which is nice. Bake Mode is what I use for desserts, breads & so far I’m happy with that. I have used the air fryer & comes with a basket. Improvements: menu panel is VERY hard to see in the evening- the print is too light. This really needs to be backlit, imo. (The LCD display that shows temp, etc is very bright so I’m not sure why the menu display is so dull) Also it’s missing add a minute button, when you want to add more time to cooking. The oven light goes off after 1 minute, which makes no sense if you want to check on your food while cooking. This is a great looking cooktop! We are just not sure about the knobs. There is a stainless steel ring around the knobs that is bigger than the know itself so food or grease can get between It will be interesting to try to clean. The cast iron pot rests are beautiful and well made. The aesthetic of this piece is great. Not 100% sure about performance.
