I like the picture, it is very colorful. I had to take the back off right away to clean all the bits of material on the white mat. Luckily they all brushed off. This is the floor of my dreams. I am so happy. First of all, it looks just like the product page photo. The sample I ordered was darker, had little or no red tones, just sort of flat looking. The customer photos are what convinced me to take a chance and I am so glad I did. The finish is smooth and glossy, the red tones gleam. It is so elegant. I LOVE it! Update: 11 months later, I still love this flooring. Maintenance has required a learning curve. It does show dirt and dust quite a bit and my cats leave little paw prints everywhere so it needs to be cleaned a few times a week, which I don't love. I discovered the best way to clean it is with a dish soap and water solution (a few drops of dish soap to about a quart of water) sprayed on a microfiber mop pad and not directly on the floor. Hardwood cleaners produce a lot of smears and dull the shine. But the floor is just flat out gorgeous so it's worth the learning curve.. Lisa. Rohnert Park, CA. Tue Jun 02 2026
