Ok i usually dont do reviews but felt i had to on this first off this is very very well made. Its easy to to put together and cat ready in literally 20 minutes by myself!! And the bad marks about it not being sturdy i simply do not get either they did something wrong or there ceiling is just too tall. I can see that happening. If u have tall ceiling then the adjusting rod will be extended to far and cause a wobble. I sent a picture of the rod adjusted on mine and believe me it is very sturdy. This is a very nice multi-level cat tree. However, I gave it 4 stars because I wish it were more stable without having to be connected to the wall. My cat will use it if I put him on it but he won’t on his own because I supposed he thinks it may fall. I have not attached it because I like the flexibility of moving it around. I purchased the medium size option of this tree because our cats are getting older and will not need very tall cat trees for their safety. Despite the description stating the base is stable, it is not. We will have to put it up against a wall because it does move side to side and possibly tip over if a cat jumps on or off suddenly. It is for small cats not medium or large cats. My cats are larger so they barely fit in the hammock and cannot even turn around on the perch. My husband assembled it before I could really look at it out of the box and the cats started scratching on it so I cannot return it. I would not recommend this tree at all.
