I was very disappointed in the benches I received. They were not black nor were they poly lumber. They were wood and brown. When I contacted the company, I was given options to either keep them or return them. I was not given an amount of what it would cost to return them but I figured it would be costly because they are pretty heavy. After a conversation with a customer service representative, I agreed to keep them with a 20% discount. Then came time to put them together and that was also a disappointment. Several of the wholes were not big enough for the screw covers so it took almost 4 hours to put one together-we did not have the time nor the patience to put the other one together. The instructions were poorly written and hard to follow. Unrelated to this purchase but also a disappointment was a lamp I received from this company a week earlier that had broken wires and needed to be replaced.
