The chairs from my old set are bulky yet all six fit around this table easily. Only negatives, and not worth subtracting stars for, are tedious assembly and the lack of any protective material on the bottom of the legs. This table was very easy to put together. It only needed the legs assembled to the table top. This table is tall so my chairs with arms will fit underneath with the exception of the ends when the table is at it smallest. The leg brackets are in the way of the chair arms on the two ends. This is not an issue when the table is extended. The table easily extends from a small 4 person table. I purchased the 83' length so it could fit possibly 6 to 8 people when extended. It's also narrower than my other tables but for my purpose, that works. It is exactly what I wanted but I gave it 4 stars because the second time I extended it one of the roller wheels that is used to extend the top, fell off, so I had to put that back on (not difficult). The outdoor coffeeside table might be the best quality thing I have gotten off Wayfair. First of all assembly took 5 minutes, all you have to do is align the legs and attach (I do recommend your own tool because the one that came with it is impossible to use). Secondly the top is so heavy and good quality it may take more than one person to move depending on your strength! The quality is OK. But I will say it bends very easily with that middle insert. It essentially is two tables that they give you an insert to put in the middle.
