These chairs looked similar to one’s in a furniture store for much less money and I’ve had good luck with Wayfair pieces before, so I ordered set of 2 to try. They were easy to put together, I was able to do pretty quickly myself except, the screws (10) 4 to attach seat, 6 to finish legs. There are not any pre-drilled holes for these screws. which made me nervous like other reviewers had stated, and I was afraid of the wood splitting. Therefore, to be safe I did have my husband use his impact drill to do the screws. They came out great, they’re very comfortable. Good quality went ahead and ordered four more. Only issue was some of the legs on bottom (see photos)were not finished with black and just unfinished wood. Don’t really see so not deal breaker for me, especially for great price. Also will need to get some type of floor protectors to add to legs. Overall, extremely happy with the quality and amazing price of these chairs. Would recommend and buy again. Shelley. NY. These chairs are solid. I ordered 4 chairs and all of them arrived in perfect condition. No missing pieces or hardware. Everything was well packed. They don’t feel or look cheap. The directions are very easy to follow and one person can easy assemble them without help. Make sure not to completely tighten all the screws until they are all screwed in. The backs of the chairs are pretty straight. I think I would prefer some accommodation for my back so that I don't have to sit so straight. I do tend to slouch though, so this may not be an issue for you. The top of the seat is shaped in order to make them more comfortable for your rear, which you can see in the third photo. I did buy chair pads to add more cushion because I did find the seats to be a bit hard, but I could see how someone else may not feel it necessary to do so.
