I wanted new dining chairs but being in the intermediary phase I need the new things to look good with the old things until they are updated as well. Our new house is triple the size of our old, so it was time for a larger dining room set. We purchased the red chairs as an accent color. We love the way they look, sleek and more expensive than they were. I assembled one chair by hand with the tools in the kit (ouch) and then finished the rest with our power drill/screwdriver....much faster. The chairs are SUPER lightweight, they didn't seem very sturdy to me, so i was a little worried, but my husband (275lbs) said he feels comfortable. The weight limit is 300lbs. Overall we are very satisfied.
