There’s something about black furniture that looks so simple yet elegant. I brought this bed for a spare bedroom that is currently being renovated and it will fit in perfectly with the decor that I have already purchased. The quality of the headboard is very soft and has that plushy feel to it. It’s definitely much sturdier than a bed I previously purchased. I can also speak highly of the instructions for this bed. I love that the pictures are very detailed so I don’t make the mistake of installing something wrong. I noted several issues with several pieces out of the 576 pieces in this box. I had at least three different pieces that were bent that I still managed to put together. However there were a few other pieces where the predrilled holes did not line up properly which forced me to create at least one new hole to get the pieces to go together properly. Looks to be a great product. Transolid needs to improve the packaging. Ours arrived with damage to one corner which fortunately will be hidden once installed and should present no problems in future. The texture which mimics stone, perhaps slate, is fantastic. Like most shower pans, this one gets set in mortar and promises to be quite "solid". Really looking forward to the finished bath.. Dale.
