This mattress is much firmer than I expected. I had to change my pillow since I am side sleeper and didn't sink in as far as usual. Had a kink in my neck for a week. Once I changed pillows seem to sleep better. Still getting used to the firmness, but hoping I will adjust over time. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. The Helix Sunset is our softest memory foam model recommended for side sleepers and those who toss and turn at night. The mattress is designed to provide great contouring and pressure relief for your hips and shoulders while maintaining a softer feel.

I love the versatility of the bed that makes getting comfortable easy. The memory adjustment is nice as is the quick return to flat. I’m probably going to get a new topper for it as the memory foam one I had on my old bed seems too soft but that’s not the fault of the mattress. Things I don’t like that I suspect would apply to any adjustable is it’s impossible to keep sheets in place and the difficulty of reaching your nightstand after getting in bed. I have a queen and I’m short so the feeling that the bed is short might bother a taller person. Again this might be true of any adjustable not just Helix. It is much softer than we expected, but have gotten used to it over time, and is very comfortable.
