We ordered this canopy because its 12x12 as opposed to the normal 10x10 that is available at your local big box store or sporting goods store... the blue stores lol. We like that it has an enclosure because it will be perfect for winter cigar smoking. However, upon putting it together, the 4 side panels are difficult to line up and it would take quite some time and adjustment to actually seal the corners and keep cold air out. I dont think we will end up using it for the originally intended purpose after all. The one push easy up is pretty nice. Its far more user friendly as a shade structure than the ones from the blue guys. The frame itself is bowed a bit in the top support structure, indicating that the pieces dont quite fit right. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. This is a very large 12x12 canopy with a wheeled bag. I missed the fact that it came with a wheeled bag and was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box. The setup is easy and my only two criticisms are the placement of the Velcro straps on the frame, and the size of the bag. The straps end up looped directly over the hinges on every single one (see photos) so make them loose when you’re setting up the canopy. The bag it comes with barely fits this larger canopy and there is zero extra room if you want to add on the side walls later. I’ll probably get a larger bag. Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. The company has a SkyHome app that controls my light and best part was how easy it was to install the plug and canopy onto my fixture. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was.
