I’ve had my umbrella opened since I installed it and we’ve had rain and wind for the past week and this umbrella has not wavered or moved an inch! I’m in the process of finding a new outdoor table with an umbrella hole, and I have no worries that this base will keep the umbrella steady. (We thought "height adjustable" included the pole, but it's just the umbrella itself that you can adjust up and down.) So at first we didn't think the umbrella would fit. But we turned it around to face a different direction and think it will work after all.
