I really love these chairs. They are sturdy, great quality, and the wood is beautiful. They were also a great price. My only complaint is they are bluish gray and not actually charcoal as pictured and advertised, which is not at all what I was going for. I've added a picture of them against a gray wall in my home. “Blistering Billows, when you confuse my hubby, you’ve outdone yourself.” This drop-leaf dining set had my husband looking at the instructions like he was deciphering ancient scrolls. Assembly definitely took longer than expected, and there were moments where patience—and maybe a strong beverage—became part of the toolkit. That said… once it finally came together It’s actually a beautiful, sturdy piece. The warm wood tone is rich in person, the drop-leaf function is perfect for smaller spaces, and the hidden storage cane-front detail give it a surprisingly upscale look for the price point. Chairs feel solid and the compact design works well in apartments, breakfast nooks, or multipurpose rooms. A few notes * Instructions could be MUCH clearer. * Expect this to be a project, not a quick 30-minute setup. * Some alignment takes finesse and probably two people. * Final product is worth it if you can survive the journey. We love this set. We got two of these sets to use when we have guests over. They are perfect for this because they are lightweight enough to move around easily, but look nice and are sturdy.
