This is a really beautiful wool rug that is currently selling for almost three times as much under another brand. It is all that I hoped for. I know it is hard shopping for neutral colored rugs online, so I included a photo with a neutral undertone wheel in natural light for reference. The recessed parts of the rug have a slight green-beige cast, and the raised parts are a very light taupey cream variegated with a pink beige that looks like a light tint of a maroon brown in the darkest parts. I think it coordinates well with natural linen color and unbleached cotton as well as cool sandy tans or mocha and cocoa colored neutrals. It might look dirty next to yellowy creams or light tints of cool blue grays. I included a photo with a natural straw mat and a bamboo box to show how it would look next to light wood with a more yellow cast. We are at the end of a remodel and I have been looking for a rug for our primary bedroom for 2 to 3 months until it was all just a blur. It would’ve been more helpful if people would state the size and color of the rug as well as taking pictures in good lighting, so I hope my information and pictures don’t leave others wondering. I love this rug! I purchased the 8 x 10, ivorybeige for our king size bed and the best I can describe the colors is vanilla and chocolate ice cream. It’s a creamy white, not yellowish and a nice milk chocolate brown. I also purchased the pad and I’m glad I did. Many people bought their rugs without a pad and would go back and add it later, but I didn’t want to do this twice. The pad did come to me folded, but the rug was rolled when it was shipped. Even if it came folded, I think it still would have laid flat very easily. It lays and feels more like a very heavy, chunky blanket and not stiff. When I got the pad, I unfolded it and rolled it up and it sat for three days before I received the rug. It fits perfectly between my floor vents, don’t forget to count for those, and blends so well with my other decor. When I received the rug, I enrolled it as the instructions stated and gave it a good vacuum and I’m glad I did before putting it in my bedroom. I filled up the vacuum tank twice. I expected higher quality for the price I paid for a 9’ round carpet. I would have considered returning it but It was too big and bulky for me at 63 years old to try to repack it and carry it out to return. I really like this wool rug. It's got some blues, teals, and a little bit of yellow in it. It isn't tightly woven like other tufted wool rugs so it is very soft for wool. I have vacuumed it three times now and it is shedding less and less. It does not clog up the vacuum. One bad thing is that every so often when I walk on it with bare feet I step on something hard and pokey. I have been able to pull out some of the pokey threads woven in, but some don't come out. Update I should have listened to recent reviews. This rug sheds and threads pull so easily I’ll be lucky if it lasts a year. Pretty color, super disappointing quality for the price. Original It’s new so I’ll update agin in 30 days but I’m super happy with this! The blue is not as teal colored as other reviews and photos indicated, but is a true navy imo.
