It is BEAUTIFUL! I am remodeling my home. I had a set of headbangers above my stove and I just wanted them gone. I found this one bc I had to have a free-hanging vent and it is PERFECT. Nice looking and works well. Pretty quiet compared to the fan that came with the microwave I used to have over the range. Chimney material is a little flimsy, which I guess is to be expected given the low price tag. Front black panel scratches easily. I would suggest only using a soft cloth. Lights are nice and bright.
