Daughter loves her bed! It seems pretty sturdy. The negatives for me are the side opposite of the desk is unfinished, it just has black backing on the side so it limits where the bed can be placed from an aesthetic perspective it basically has to be in a corner if you don’t want to see the black backing side. The bed is pretty i like it, i will say it took a couple for hours for us to put it together but it was worth it, doesn’t feel flimsy. I wanted a surround for my adjustable bed base and this fit the bill. I did not need the slats or slat supports. It took me about 1 1/2 hours to put it together myself at 72 years old. I wanted the shelf and USB charging ports and an ac outlet and lighting. I got everything I needed. The big box store wanted between $300 and $1200 for some frames with either power or charging but not both. Weight requirements did not matter since I used my own adjustable base.
