Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. Our Timor black timber bamboo poles come in an average of 2-3 inches in diameter. They are made up of a thick wall of heavy bamboo and are crack-resistant. Color and actual diameter will vary due to the natural material. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of each pole, only that they will be between the diameter of 2-3 inches. Bamboo poles may also have different diameters at either end, this is due to the way bamboo grows.

Love these blinds! The pullpush to lowerraise is very smooth and easy to use. The only thing to warn about is that they are quite sheer. The pre-assembled fence panels are carefully woven together by vinyl-coated wire to ensure durability while remaining seamless. Unlike bamboo fences, the individual reed diameters vary between 1/4 to 3/8, which makes this Jumbo Reed fence sturdier than regular reed but still lightweight and easy to handle. Installation is easy with staples, zip ties, or wires. Simply run a wire into the fencing and then twist it onto your existing chain link fence to hold it up. We use only clean polished reeds woven together with black nylon-coated wires that match perfectly with the color tone of the fence. Most other reed fences on the market are made with non-polished reed with husk. This fence is NOT opaque. You would need to double or triple it for total coverage. It is very light and thin but makes a great covering or accent for your home.
