Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. Bamboo poles may also have different diameters at either end, this is due to the way bamboo grows.

Poles may have black spots, scratches, dings and other markings. These are natural and cannot be removed. Splits and cracks should not affect the durability of the bamboo as long as they do not go all the way through. Make sure any holes are pre-drilled prior to using screws etc.
