Love these blinds! The pullpush to lowerraise is very smooth and easy to use. The only thing to warn about is that they are quite sheer. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. We use only clean, polished reeds woven together with black nylon-coated wires that match perfectly with the color tone of the fence. Most other reed fences on the market are made with non-polished reed with husk. This fence has an opacity of about 85 percent but can be doubled, making it opaque. Due to the natural material of this product, the color may vary slightly from the photos shown. This fence is tan but may differ in shades, slightly darker or lighter.

Bamboo poles can be used for all sorts of projects, from posts and supports, to decor and more. Bamboo poles may also cost less when compared to other materials. Each piece will vary in size based on the diameter range given. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of pole. 1 pole per package. Color and appearance will vary due to the natural material used. Poles may have black spots, scratches, dings and other markings. These are natural and cannot be removed. Splits and cracks should not affect the durability of the bamboo as long as they do not go all the way through. Make sure any holes are pre-drilled prior to using screws etc.

Black bamboo has culms that are green when they first emerge from the ground, and within months they acquire the natural black color with dark-brown patches that give this bamboo a beautiful, rich, appearance. The culms of this bamboo are used extensively in Japanese woodworking and are excellent for indoor and outdoor decoration. Our Timor black timber bamboo poles come in an average of 2-3 inches in diameter. They are made up of a thick wall of heavy bamboo and are crack-resistant. Color and actual diameter will vary due to the natural material. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of each pole, only that they will be between the diameter of 2-3 inches. Bamboo poles may also have different diameters at either end, this is due to the way bamboo grows.
