Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It can be used on its own or attached to cover a chain link fence for added beauty and privacy. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. The culms of this bamboo are used extensively in Japanese woodworking and are excellent for indoor and outdoor decoration. Our Timor black timber bamboo poles come in an average of 2-3 inches in diameter. They are made up of a thick wall of heavy bamboo and are crack-resistant. Color and actual diameter will vary due to the natural material. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of each pole, only that they will be between the diameter of 2-3 inches. Bamboo poles may also have different diameters at either end, this is due to the way bamboo grows.

I was so pleasantly surprised at how good these look as a privacy screen for my pool. I bought four and they look absolutely beautiful against the fence. Very full, substantial, and realistic. I’m going to add white rocks to the planter as I think the moss will blow away. Plus not much moss came with it…very small bag. Our exclusively designed reed fencing is a wonderful and natural addition to your home and garden. We use only clean polished reeds woven together with black nylon-coated wires that match perfectly with the color tone of the fence. Most other reed fences on the market are made with non-polished reed with husk. This fence is NOT opaque. You would need to double or triple it for total coverage. It is very light and thin but makes a great covering or accent for your home.

Poles may have black spots, scratches, dings and other markings. These are natural and cannot be removed. Splits and cracks should not affect the durability of the bamboo as long as they do not go all the way through. Make sure any holes are pre-drilled prior to using screws etc.
