Black bamboo has culms that are green when they first emerge from the ground, and within months they acquire the natural black color with dark-brown patches that give this bamboo a beautiful, rich, appearance. The culms of this bamboo are used extensively in Japanese woodworking and are excellent for indoor and outdoor decoration. Our Timor black timber bamboo poles come in an average of 2-3 inches in diameter. They are made up of a thick wall of heavy bamboo and are crack-resistant. Color and actual diameter will vary due to the natural material. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of each pole, only that they will be between the diameter of 2-3 inches. Bamboo poles may also have different diameters at either end, this is due to the way bamboo grows.

Love these blinds! The pullpush to lowerraise is very smooth and easy to use. The only thing to warn about is that they are quite sheer. Bamboo poles can be used for all sorts of projects, from posts and supports, to decor and more. Bamboo poles may also cost less when compared to other materials. Each piece will vary in size based on the diameter range given. We cannot guarantee a specific diameter of pole. 1 pole per package. Color and appearance will vary due to the natural material used. Poles may have black spots, scratches, dings and other markings. These are natural and cannot be removed. Splits and cracks should not affect the durability of the bamboo as long as they do not go all the way through. Make sure any holes are pre-drilled prior to using screws etc.

Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It can be used on its own or attached to cover a chain link fence for added beauty and privacy. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. Due to the natural material used, the color will vary and may not look exactly like the photos shown. These fences are not solid, and you WILL be able to see through them.

This worked absolutely perfect for my purposes! I did have to hire somebody to install them for me. They are heavy when they come in the role so it does take two people to attach it to the fence.
