The height is perfect for an adult to sit upright comfortably and can be used by children,as well, because it is easier to climb upon. The assembly was made difficult because the instructions were not as clearly defined. Oftentimes, written instructions are more accommodating than pictures, especially considering the uniqueness of the assembly of this product.
