We got a range hood for our outside grill it took time to install because my husband built a wood box to attach it to our roof.it works great because now when we use the grill all the smoke doesn’t stay in the area and we are able to eat sitting around the grill. This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. This hood is very elegant and looks great in my new kitchen. Bright lighting and the fan is not too loud.
