[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was purchased to replace a similar Bosch unit that finally failed with an inside metal lining burn after 18 years of faithful service. It is a very nice piece of equipment, with just a few comments. First, the microwave function is very quiet, a plus. However, the internal vent fan is very loud. More to the point, while air blows out the top vent, there is very little flow into the two-under vent portals, not very efficient removing smoke and odors. The control and number pad is very difficult to read in normal light. Either the text needs to stand out more, or ideally it would be better if illuminated. Replaced 12 year old GE convection that kept blowing cooktop bulbs. Simple install, similar controls as my older version, sans convection that I don’t think I ever used. We followed the instructions to install, and then figure out that it would have fit exactly into the old frame, so wasted about an hour removing the old wall connections…. Great having a dial to easily add seconds, or can just hit 30 second button a few times. LOVE the pull out vent that covers the entire cook surface! It is very descent but very limited instructions on how to use all the settings. I had to go on line and ask AI how to do various things. Also disappointed in the air fryer portion and actually was not as good as expected and it would not go higher than 400 deg F. It is hard to sync the clock with my watch. Also on installation it was not real clear that I had to turn the exhaust fan to blow forward since we do not have teh ability to exhaust outside. Every thing else seems to work good. Good Cook 007. I was in need of a microwave to replace one I had for years and quit on me. At first, I was skeptical because I never knew Faberware made microwaves but it was offered at a fair price so I took a chance. It is more powerful, by surprise, than my old one which was 1000 watts. Even though it is smaller, I can still fit a large plate with room to spare. My only complaint thus far is the popcorn setting. This is the quick set button on top of the panel.
