Installed this color-changing bathroom fanlight recently and overall I’m really happy with it. Wayfair sent the wrong color since we wanted the matte black one, but support helped. The fan moves air well, the light is bright enough. Color modes are the fun bonus that makes the whole bathroom feel more modern. It’s great to have options… normal white light for getting ready, softer tones for nighttime, and color modes when you want a little vibe. That said, installation was a bit trickier than a standard fan because this unit has multiple functions (light fan color modes). We only had one existing electrical feed at the vent, and while the instructions said additional wiring was “optional,” we wanted to unlock the full potential so we ran an extra line to be able to control everything properly. I finally got around to installing this exhaust fan to replace one that was almost 30 years old and I’ve got to say that I was really impressed by how simple the process was. It utilizes quick connect wire connectors and a simple plug in light. It seems that it is really well made and looks great. The included remote control is easy to understand and paired with the unit quickly. The lighting options are really great as well especially the night light feature. Has great features I was looking for – a timer for the fan, a dimmable light, humidity sensor. My kids love the rainbow light, but I think it’s unnecessary. There is no way to directly control the light andor fan function directly through a wall switch. You are only able to turn on and off via the remote, which makes this feel incredibly cheap and inconvenient for a guest who may not know how to use the remote.
