It comes in a crate and its 300 pounds so beware. I paid for the delivery service and it was no problem although the men visibly struggled to get it into my bedroom. My master is on the first floor. I couldnt imagine trying to get it up an interior stairway. Ive read some other reviews that complain of it not retaining heat. My experience is the opposite. I bought it in walnut. It looks really nice and seems very sturdy. I put it together my self (55F) over the course of a few hours after work with no issues. The only issue I had was that it had a defect in the glaze on front. The manufacturer offered a nice discount, so I decided to keep it. This is heavy and very well-made and all the drawers and doors operate smoothly and are positioned exactly/ symmetrically . I have a habit of leaving drawers and cabinets open but these shut on their own when you partially put them in! Very nice white painted finish.
