I’ve owned the fridge for about 3 weeks and it is a solid upgrade. PROS: It looks great and elevates the look of the kitchen to gourmet. The water/filter quality is top tier and the auto sense fill feature saves time when filling up a glass or a measuring cup. And of course it chills and freezes nicely with features that boost the capability for special circumstances such as installation or recovering from a power outage. CONS. It’s missing a few “normal folks” features that I’ve enjoyed over the years and that I would expect for the cost. 1. It is massive and takes 4-6 people to deliver it; annotate that during delivery or they won’t send enough people to get it off the truck. Also, installation and haul away aren’t included. Be prepared to pay a few hundred extra. 2. The door isn't magnetized - so it won’t hold a magnet. 3. Shelves are a tiny bit less deep than the last refrigerator, but it’s not too much of a problem. It’s working, keeps the food safe, and is very attractive. The acrylic surface sheet is reinforced with a proprietary resin material which is covered by a layer of Canadian wood and another layer of proprietary resin material to reinforce the base and eliminate the flexing experienced in other products. The offset drain allows for the easy replacement of a bathtub with this shower base without having to move the drain to the center of the shower base. The linear drain design provides an attractive matching cover to conceal the drain unit providing a clean and uninterrupted appearance of the shower.
