The bed took me 6 hours to assemble by myself. I would look at the entire way to assemble starting at step 20. For me it was easier to do the top bunk matress bars first. The top bunk is not very attractive once its made so I inserted a base under the mattress to tuck the sheets under. (Not shown in photo). Great option for 2 kiddos! It took a VERY long time to set up but my Mother and I hammered it out in like 4 hours.
