Finally found one that lasts! I want to start by saying I intentionally waited to write this review because I wanted to make sure this product truly stood the test of time before recommending it — and I’m so glad I did, because it did not disappoint! My husband has gone through so many coffee makers over the years. We could never find one that would hold up long-term. Then we got the Braun, and it has outlasted every single one before it. Purchased open box. Received cooler packaged horizontally. Fortunately, it works. No visible serial number on the external packaging. Also not a problem due to Wayfair, but reversing the door is nearly impossible and is still a work in progress. The small plastic filler/caps are extremely hard to remove. The caps breakoff leaving the filler in the threads. I only got 2 of the six out whole. I will need to somehow remove the plastic inserts without damaging the threads for the replacement screws..
