My old Black Decker lasted 18 years and finally wouldn’t steam any longer. I looked in the local stores and they now are showing the newer models of irons with the very pointed front ends and not much area to iron on even in the middle of these irons. I checked Wayfair which is the place to go when you can’t locate the items anywhere else and sure enough they had this Black Decker Classic Iron. It is perfect, even better than my older model, good looking, easy to operate and to fill for steaming I could not locate it in any of the stores in my area but found it on Wayfair. It really helped with charcoal organizing, air flow, and cleanup. You’ll be reluctant at first when you see the price. You may even consider purchasing a less expensive alternative… Don’t. I took a chance, trusting the quality of the other products from Kamado Joe and honestly had to laugh when this arrived. The images don’t do it justice and when you retrieve it from it’s careful packaging, use two hands. The basket is fabricated out of ~1/4” stainless rod and will be remaining long after we die. This scrub brush really did the job. I was able to clean my entire Weber grill quickly and thoroughly. It is just the right size and the bristles are stiff enough to remove any residue. I recommend soaking in grill cleaner first and using the brush to remove the rest. After a thorough rinse, drying, and oiling, the grill was back in business.
