Good product. Good price. The folding side wings are a bit flimsy. I have no reason to fold them down, especially since the vinyl bbq cover size warrants them up. They would be better if a little more rigid and fixed in place. Also wish the back of the stand had a full sheet of steel and not the way it’s currently designed. Assembly was relatively easy and I was able to do it on my own only asking for assistance when attaching the main grill to the stand. I think it took about two hours in total for complete assembly. I’ve got a fairly long and steep concrete driveway that is starting to show its age a little bit. There has been some minor cracking from the freeze-thaw cycle each winter. I decided to try the Armour SX5000 water-based sealant to see if it would improve the situation. I have delayed writing this review for a bit as I wanted to driveway to go through at least one winter season. I first pressure washed the entire driveway surface which is pretty time consuming. I then applied the Armour sealant with a manual pump sprayer. This part went fairly quickly. The trick is to get the sealant covering the driveway well, but not so much as to create puddles that aren’t absorbed. I made sure there was no rain in the forecast for a couple of days. Initially, I did half of the driveway first and the first day that it rained the difference on the two sides was very noticeable. Water on the coated side was beading and running off and on the other side it was being absorbed into the concrete. My driveway has now gone through two winters and the sealant is still somewhat effective, but I think I will need to coat it again this fall.. Bryan. Halifax, NS. Fri Mar 27 2026
